Email Training Programme This email training programme teaches you how to work with a heart rate monitor to gradually and painlessly increase your fitness to a level which is easily able to accomplish your 5K or 10K Run event. In a way, your own heart will be your coach! You will receive 4 emails per week for 8 weeks (so order this email training programme at least 8 weeks ahead of your event date for optimal benefit). These emails are filled with information and inspiration-including weekly workout plans, new skills to practice, and motivational and inspirational messages. This programme is designed for the less-experienced athlete. You have the option to include a one session Heart Zones Sub-Maximum Heart Rate Tests (2 field tests) to determine your estimated maximum heart rate. Sub-Maximum Heart Rate Tests A one-session Heart Zones Sub-Maximum Heart Rate Tests (2 field tests) to determine your estimated maximum heart rate. Once determined, you are able to set your own 5 individualised training zones. You will subsequently be able to train on your own using the heart rate monitor and the 5 training zones. |
